They’re perfect for welcoming “Springtime in New York.”
Spring in New York is always special, but this year it has even more meaning.
As the city starts to emerge from lockdown and the weather warms up, there’s plenty of hope and optimism in the air.
And while designer Deirdre Featherstone’s jewelry always evokes a happy feeling, regardless of which piece you’re looking at, those in her new collection themed “Springtime in New York” are especially captivating in 2021.
Earrings in the collection draw inspiration from the sign of new beginnings—the flower bulb—and the flowers that start popping up across the city right about now.
The pieces combine the drops she’s made her signature—but in fantastic new stones like charoite, agate, chalcedony, and chrysoprase—with faceted stones in vibrant pops of color to give us exactly what we need this spring.
A standout pair—at least in this editor’s eyes—is the designer’s carved flower and amber drop earrings.
These beauties feature tourmaline (3.90 carats), amethyst (3.50 carats), mandarin garnet (5.70 carats), and diamond (0.57 carats) in the flower tops with 64.19 total carats of amber drops hanging below, set in platinum and 18-karat yellow gold.
They’re available at Bergdorf Goodman for $17,200.
