A new range of “diamond watches” feature a hand-drawn 3D image of a brilliant-cut gem on the dial.
They’re the creation of celebrated Canadian watch and jewelry designer Reena Ahluwalia (pictured with watch), who is also a keen diamond painter.
She earned a Guinness World Record in 2019 for her Mudan Watch, with most diamonds set on a watch – 15,858 diamonds, totaling 50.01 carats.
Reena says the new collection of Swiss-made gender-neutral watches took three years to develop.
The Coronet by Reena diamond watches are part of an extended partnership with Hong Kong-based Aaron Shum Jewelry. They will retail for under $500.
